WHAT TO THE WHAT???
20 years!!! Yes, Scentsy is celebrating 20 years this year and it has been an amazing journey, not only for Scentsy, but for me as well! Our annual Scentsy Family Reunion, which is like an annual convention, will be held in Orlando, Florida. We will be going to Universal Studios one night compliments of Scentsy!!!
Here is my Scentsy story:
One day I came across Scentsy. I LOVE candles and had an addiction to going to a local florist to purchase another companies candles when they were on sale or clearance. I spent a lot of $$$ purchasing these candles. So, I decided to have a Scentsy party. But when it was time to close out my party, my hostess was in the hospital. Hmmm...I pondered, how hard could this selling thing be?!?! Well, I went to work the next day and when I came home I had a wake up call when I went back to my bathroom. SHATTERED GLASS EVERYWHERE!!!!! What in the world had happened back here?!?! Oh, yes, the enivitable had happened! The 3-wick, very expensive candle I had purchased from the well-known candle company had not been blown out from when I left!!!! Then the sun coming in from the bathroom window causing direct sun-light on it caused it to shatter! Oh, great, headline news Oloh Fire Chief's House Burns to the Ground From Candle". Yep, I could sell Scentsy! So my basket party was basically my launch party!!! I had to leave my job due to health reasons in October 2010 and I have not looked back since...well, I have looked back and wondered about my patients...but NEVER about administration ;)
If I can do this, so can YOU. There is not one excuse you can give me that I havent already given myselft. In November 2021 I celebrated my 10 year SCENTiversary and I walked across across the stage at our Scentsy Family Reunion (Convention) in Salt Lake City and was recognized for this achievement! It was thrilling to be on stage with my Scentsy Family to celebrate this milestone. I am so excited and proud of the work I have done through Scentsy! WooHoo! This past November was my 10 year Scentiversary, only this year I did not get to walk across the stage. Our Scenty Family Reunion (what we call our convention) took place virtually.
So come join the roller coaster with me. You join me by hosting a party. It is soooo easy to have a Scentsy party. There are two ways to have a party. The first is the traditional (and most fun) home party. This gives you and your guests a chance to see the beautiful warmers up close and personal. It also gives you and your guests a chance to meet me and to develop that long-lasting relationship that is so great about Scentsy! The second way to have a party is the simple basket party. I will give you a set of mini-testers for you to take and a few of the Scentsy catalogs to share with you friends and family. This allows you to take the time to take orders with people you come in contact with at work, the ball field, cheer practice or any where you stop during your day! It is that easy! Either way you choose to have a party you still earn 1/2 priced and free items!!!
